One of my all time favorite movies, "Pretty in Pink" debuts starring Andrew McCarthy, Molly Ringwald and Jon Cryer, with a valuable lesson I have lived by and benefited from, "Don't waste good lip gloss."

Thanks for reminding me of my Molly Ringwald crush. And another anniversary, today was the day that 79 year old Stella Liebeck struggles with her cup of McDonald's coffee, and discovers the hard way that "THE BEVERAGE IS HOT". Luckily, no movie was made of that. |

I enjoyed this film, almost as much as 16 Candles. My fave 80's teen film: Fast Times at Ridgemont High. |

Molly Ringwald made the cover of TIME back when that meant something! Fast Times at Ridgemont High is my second favorite 80's movie. I loved that. |

Poor Andrew McCarthy! What ever happened to him? I loved the movie but she should have ended up with the girl from the record store (which was Wax Trax BTW) and had a dykey affair. Pretty In Pink, indeed! |

Andrew McCarthy has done several Law and Order episodes and B movies. He resides in NYC. I've heard mixed things as to what he is like to work with. |
