This is a shame to say but Jennifer Hudson is headed into the studio to make the album main stream music will have no interest in hearing. Poor thing, I'm not sure she is aware of what's ahead. Into oblivion she goes. Another cautionary tale about there being no guarantees in show business. She was right for THIS role people. Hello Oprah! Can I get a witness?

Poor Jennifer's horrific, so-not-high-fashion Vogue cover giving new meaning to the phrase, "Strike while the iron's hot."

I adored this dress. Cate Blanchett looks stunning as always.

What can I say about Reece? Living well is the best revenge ladies, you know and I know it. Revenge makes a woman gorgeous! Ryan is kicking himself all over the place, I'm sure.

I love this lady. I loved The Queen. It was my favorite movie along with The Departed. Helen Mirren looks fantastic! She has it all over so many celebs half her age. Leave it to the Brits to bring the class and elegance.

I think Helen stole the red carpet! Stunning! I love Jennifer Hudson. She makes us full-figured women proud and black america will buy her CDs up - especially if she goes Gospel. She just can't be Beyonce, and Beyonce can't do Jennifer. I do think she is much better suited for the stage than the recording studio because she played the hell out of that role. If you saw her performance and didn't cry, something is wrong with you! For once the Oscars did not let me down (although Little Miss Sunshine for best supporting actor?? Come on!!! :) |

You make a good point Mary one that I over looked. Jennifer could and hopefully will have her demographic. It will definately not be the same one as Beyonce and that's Ok. |

Also... Alan Arkin so deserved it. I'm a total movie buff and he is a great actor. Remember him in Slums of Beverly Hills? Glengarry Glen Ross? Grosse Pointe Blank? The In-Laws? |

damn they airbrushed the hell out of poor jennifer hudson on the march vogue cover. she's like 2 sizes smaller than in real life ! for once, i wish they'd show what "real" women's bodies looked like without touching them up. i hope ms. hudson is able to go on and have a dynamite career as a singer, perhaps finding roles on broadway and beyond. a voice that gifted needs to be heard. women 50+ should take note of how smashingly elegant helen mirren looked. that's the way a real lady should look. |
