I never write about family stuff here, but this weekend was something else. My father isn't well physically or emotionally and he isn't easy to deal with. This weekend was no exception. He became belligerent and verbally abusive again. His health issues have only intensified an already unstable personality. His feeling is other people make him get angry and act out. The trouble is a coat left on a chair can set someone like this off. You know that line about the first step to fixing a problem is admitting there is one, well it's very true.

Later in the morning I encountered two other crazies. One screamed at me to move my car from a crowded parking area where I was sitting with the flashers on waiting for someone and the other was work related. That man apologized for his behaviour. At one point I had to laugh at the way my day was going with crazy old men acting out their rage.

Lot's of people have anger that is deep rooted. They don't even know what they are angry about, it's just very old hurt. I picture them, including my father with sick stamped across their forehead and I don't take it personally.
