Anna Sui clothes are pretty, the body... disturbing.
The pressure is on models in a new way- to look healthy. Unfortunately this didn't hit New York fashion week. Many of the models used were literally skin and bone. I don't know how, in clear conscience some designers use these starving young women. During NY fashion week, it's pretty much the same group of girls walking the runway. Some are thin, and some are in the grips of a full blown eating disorder. The following model (Snejana Onopka) in particular makes me cringe.

I'll bet her diet consists of a leaf of lettuce with just a spritz of lemon juice, bottled water, a Tic Tack and a cartoon of Marlboro Lights. |

It's funny you mention cigarettes, Pax. I'm stunned at how many of these models smoke for the exact reason you mention. |

It's true, and that Snejana woman is clearly sick. But exotic. I understand the look they're going for, but she's a little extreme. LOOK AT HER KNEES! |

I know Jordan. I like thin, but I also like healthy. I feel bad for this gorgeous girl. She is disappearing slowly. |
