Is it the duty of all Aunts to attend a niece's dance recital? I'm the kind of Aunt that takes the kids to do shall we say... more grown up activities (Go into the city, eating out, shopping etc.). I have sworn since they were born, to never set foot in a Chucky Cheese and I'm not real big on amusement parks either. I figure those activities are Mom's job. Every now and again an Aunt does need to show up and support her niece and last night was Lea Elizabeth's first dance recital performed to the tune of Hit The Road Jack.
