Before you vote please consider some of the following terms that you may be hearing. First is occupation. We are occupying Iraq and fighting insurgents. Its a bloody mess and we need to get out soon. George has no intention of ending this thing in a timely fashion and he doesn't seem to care who likes it. I say give the Iraqi's a time limit to get there democracy off the ground. Of course, with that said, its like asking someone to be somewhere they just aren't in life. Iraq needs to evolve and want democracy for themselves, not just because we pointed a gun at them. and told them it was time.

I purchased The Kid today, starring Charlie Chaplin and Jackie Coogan. I love silent movies and this one in particular is great. It still holds up. Woman still abandoned babies and live to regret it. My friend and blog mentor Justin is working in the film media these days, and I would suggest that the silent film could make a comeback if done properly. A fast pace story line and a terrific soundtrack, maybe even black and white? How cool.

I have several dream vacations in mind. A trip on the Orient Express, the Queen Mary 2 floating on the ocean, but the commercial for Cirque du Soleil and Celebrity cruises keeps teasing me. I never had an interest in a cruise, but this one seems elegant. Ahhh, I can dream can't I?
